Oh, this is a big day for me.

Not only are moi and the love of my life celebrating our 3 year anniversary today, I will also find out if I'm too bloody stupid to get a LJ cut to work...

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

A girl and a boy met. The boy was an utterly insane devil and not exactely easy-on-the-eyes, but the girl decided to give it try anyway. Weeell... to be honest, she simply felt sorry for him.

'But he is dangerous!' they told her.

Yes, he was. And sometimes still is.

'He'll try to kill you!' they told her.

Uhm... yes, he did. More than once. But he outgrew that phase.

'He's gonna cost you a fortune!' they told her.

Ha! Tell me about it. But I really don't mind. I mean, it's not like I expect him to make his own money at any point.

But trust me folks, he's worth it. OK, he might not be as tall as me (and I'm only 5.3). And he might be a bit on the hefty side (he does weigh about 970 lbs). And yes, he is significantly younger than me (about 15 years).

But... don't ya think we're just perfect for each other?

Obviously, you need to put the: <..> in but you put those, followed by lj-cut then whatever you want to cut, and then <..> /lj-cut

Haha, it wouldn't let me do it properly. So you'll have to adapt to my codes. lol!

Thanks, I tried your version but that wouldn't work either. Let's face it: I'm completely hopeless with this stuff. Hm... I'm wondering if there are support groups for bunglers like me.

What you forgot was the text to actually click on, to get to what's behind the cut

So, it would be (inside <>, of course) lj-cut text="whatever"

then whatever you want to appear behind the cut

then /lj-cut to finish.

Thanks, but that's how I did it at first and it wouldn't work either.
Maybe I screwed something else up in my journal which now results in cuts not working. Meh.
